Wiesbaden Biennale 2025, PLATZ MACHEN!

From September 12 to 21, 2025, Wiesbaden became a stage for new perspectives, international art, and bold questions about the past and the future. Blending performing and visual arts, performance, installation, and music, artists from around the world developed works for and within Wiesbaden—both inside the theater and throughout public spaces. They engaged with politically charged questions of heritage, traced hidden paths of the past, and imagined visions for a shared, more solidaristic future.

Curated by Rebecca Ajnwojner & Carolin Hochleichter. Shahrzad Rahmani and Silvia Gioberti, artists from the Guerilla Architects collective, were responsible for the festival’s overall scenography.
